Insanity Year 10 Underway
Since returning to the 1000 Islands in early October to close up for the season, we had a week in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park area with Bill’s lifelong friend, Jim Waters. This was followed by a week in the mountain town of Highlands, NC to hike and tour some of the Nantahala National Forest. Next up is Northern Georgia to checkout several of the State Parks and towns.
At the end of August, we took five-week trip to Germany and Austria with Laurie and Marv Baker. Our approach was to see as much of Germany as we could and get in a bit of Austria as ”desert”. The visit took us to quite a few cities and towns, almost all by train(s). Our escapades are documented in
