2025-26 Nomadic Season in Review

At the beginning of May we returned to the 1000 Islands for the summer.  It’s great to be back in New York for a while and doubling our living space to 600 square feet for a while.  We’re looking forward to the arrival of our kids and grands in the next month.

This puts to rest year 9 of our retirement odyssey.  This was one of the more interesting years, due to new places, the number of good friends we met up with, and RV problems.  Despite some hiccups, it really was a great ride and we already have our eyes on next Fall.

The travel highlights of our year include visits to the UK, Vermont, St. Augustine, Yuma, Kanab, Navajo Nation, Sedona, and Kentucky.  We also cherished the company of good friends at so many of our stops – this makes a huge difference in the “fun factor”.   And we thank Sue and Dean Hereford and our kids from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible support they provide to us.  We couldn’t do this lifestyle without them.

New posts and Pictures since last Fall include:

Kentucky

Navajo Territory

Southwest Wandering

RV Misadventures

Also our Schedule through next summer and Campsites have been updated
