As of May 2020, we have just finished our third RV tour season on the road and have thoroughly enjoyed nearly every minute of our RV life. It has been our privilege and good fortune to be able to see the USA and meet so many wonderful people. We have no plans to stop anytime soon and are already looking forward to getting back on the road next year.
Over the course of our retirement, we’ve had a lot of experiences and lessons learned that label us a “junior RV veterans”. Several of our friends and acquaintances are nearing retirement and are considering the RV life in one fashion or another. We regularly have conversations and Q&A sessions regarding the lifestyle and logistics of long term “Glamping”. This is a lot of fun for us.
Like most of humanity, we’ve have had a bit of time on our hands as we have waited out COVID-19 self-isolation this Spring. This seemed like a good time to reflect on our experience and lessons learned in writing and publish it on our blog. The intent was to find something useful to do while the weather was still lousy that may be of some use to people who have relevant questions.
